Abstract
The latest NLSY79 workhistory data CD-ROM has been released to the public. The CD-ROM contains data on employment collected during the 1996 interview, as well as all similar data from the previous interviews. The NLSY79 workhistory data file contains a unique set of created variables. This constructed data file provides a week-by-week longitudinal work record for each respondent from January 1978 through the 1996 interview date. Data are arranged in three primary arrays:
