Abstract
We introduced in the 1986 edition [1] a new naming scheme for the hadrons. Changes from older terminology affected mainly the heavier mesons made of the light (u, d, and s) quarks. Old and new names were listed alongside until 1994. Names also change from edition to edition because some characteristic like mass or spin changes. The Summary
