Abstract
Policy Statement The mandatory requirements contained in the Queensland Government Information Standards (QGIS) are implemented appropriately across Queensland Health to support and improve the delivery of health services and health outcomes for Queenslanders. Principles Scope and Application A Custodian is assigned to each QGIS to: � Attend and advocate Queensland Health’s interests in whole of Government consultation to review the QGIS. � Ensure the appropriate implementation and maintenance of the QGIS within Queensland Health. All Queensland Health employees (permanent, temporary and casual, and its agents including Visiting Medical Officers and other partners in care, contractors, consultants and volunteers) who participate in information management and / or its associated technology and telecommunications. Effective date 31/05/2012
