Abstract Medroxyprogesterone acetate (MPA) is one of the most frequently prescribed progestin for conception, hormone replacement therapy, and adjuvant endocrine therapy. MPA has a low oral bioavailability due to extensive metabolism; however, its metabolism was poorly documented.
