the drinking water industry. We lost one of our most valuable assets— Larry Rader—who passed away that morning. We will miss him. Larry was a one-man operation who helped as many people as he could. He had a knack for telling a story and was an exceptional writer. His talent didn't stop there, though. As a circuit rider, Larry helped thousands of people in West Virginia. Later, as a contribut-ing writer for On Tap magazine, he helped thousands of people around the U.S. One thing that always impressed us at the National Drinking Water Clearinghouse about Larry was the gift he had for translating years of practical experience into a readable article. He could take the most colorless topic and infuse it with his unique take on life and make it interesting to read. He was pas-sionate about water and rural America.
