Abstract: this paper, we propose an efficient strategy to represent multi-part objects with superquadrics utilizing part decomposition as a preprocessing step. We also present a novel 3D part decomposition algorithm based on curvature analysis. Experiments were conducted on a large number of 3D triangulated surfaces (Update)
