Abstract:
This study uses an inductive thematic analysis approach to examine userperceptions on the importance of lb site designjatures in six diflbrent lb site domains: Financial e-Commerce, Entertainment, Education, Government, and Medicat The tve most impor-tant fbatures, as well as the tve most importanumilies of batures, were identited j3r each of the domains. The results indicate that (1) there are certainjatures that are perceived as equally important among different domaim; (2) there are otherJatures that are regarded as ex-tremely importantj3r one domain and extremely unimportantj3r another. The study provides empirical evidencesjr lgb site designers and evaluators about whatJatures are more important to j3cus on when dealing with lY&b site domains. it ad & value to the current literature on consumer behavior in the electronic environment and web usability studies.
