Abstract: This paper presents a brief survey of verious verification methods necessary to show correct functionality
of a software product. However, as briefly shown already, verification is only one aspect of the problem. We
later address some of these other important aspects in producing good software specifications. More detailed
discussion of other formal methods can be found elsewhere (e.g., (Craigen, 1990) (Wing, 1990)). In the rest
of this section we will briefly discuss the role of verification... (Update)
