Abstract: This paper deals with developing automatic classification algorithms for identifying images of F-actin distribution in endothelial cells with different treatment of drugs. A novel combination of genetic algorithm based feature selection , used to obtain an optimal feature set, and artificial neural network methods including the multilayer feedforward network and the functional link network was used in the classification.
