Abstract: . The purpose of this report is to list some of the criteria used in five aspects of the project: the hardware configuration, the software configuration, the real-time application, the Ada real-time experiments, and the benchmarking and instrumentation techniques. Each criterion will include a rationale. Each of the criteria listed in this report will be categorized as either essential, highly desirable, or desirable. 1.
