Abstract: This article introduces Morphe, a programming
language aimed to support construction of open
systems. In open systems, the programmer cannot
completely anticipate the future use of his
programs as components of new environments.
When independently developed systems are integrated
into an open system, we eventually have
inconsistent representations of the same object.
This is because knowledge about the world is partial
and relative to a perspective. We show how
Morphe treats relative (and... (Update)
