Abstract: In this paper we consider the problem of capacity analysis in the framework of information-theoretic model of data
hiding. Capacity is determined by the stochastic model of the host image, by the distortion constraints and by the
side information about watermarking channel state available at the encoder and at the decoder. We emphasize the
importance of proper modeling of image statistics and outline the possible decrease in the expected fundamental
capacity limits if there is a mismatch... (Update)
