Abstract
a. Reissues and renames DoD Instruction (DoDI) 5025.01 (Reference (a)) in accordance with the authority in DoD Directive (DoDD) 5105.53 (Reference (b)). b. Updates the policy, assignment of responsibilities, and procedures for the development, coordination, approval, publication, and review of DoD issuances (referred to in this instruction as “issuances”). c. Incorporates the use of the Secretary’s Policy Memorandums as another means to quickly establish or implement and locate DoD policy. d. Establishes the DoD Issuances Website at
