Abstract
This paper describes work in progress to investigate security models and mechanisms to support group collaboration on ad hoc wireless networks. It should be possible to establish ad hoc groups on such a network to enable short-term or long-term collaboration and sharing of resources without extensive manual involvement or reliance on technical staff and system administrators. To do so requires a new security model and the use of context-sensitive and implicit security paradigms.
