Abstract
This standard provides the requirements for ISDN primary rate metallic interface specification for a carrier to customer installation (CI) and for interfaces between different items of customer premises equipment (CPE). Requirements include electrical characteristics, format parameters and physical characteristics. This standard provides interface compatibility information and is not meant to be an equipment specification. T1E1.2/98-007R3 Draft revision of T1.408-1990 8/31/98 i American National Standard Approval of an American National Standard requires verification by ANSI that the requirements for due process, consensus, and other criteria for approval have been met by the standards developer.
