Abstract
a. Establishes the DHA with the mission, organization and management, responsibilities and functions, relationships, and authorities as described in this directive. b. Effective October 1, 2013, disestablishes the TRICARE Management Activity (TMA), transfers appropriate TMA functions to the DHA, and cancels DoD Directive (DoDD) 5136.12 (Reference (c)).
