Abstract
This paper presents a web-based expert system for wheat crop in Pakistan. Wheat is one of the major grain crops in Pakistan. It is cultivated in vast areas of Punjab followed by Sindh and ranked first as a cereal crop in the country. Our rule-based expert system covers two main classes of problems namely diseases and pests, normally encountered in wheat crop. The expert system is intended to help the farmers, researchers and students and provides an efficient and goal-oriented approach for solving common problems of wheat.
