  A Bayesian design pattern for regression problems

Abstract:

We outline a generic Bayesian mixture response model for regression problems. It is supposed that response variables are counting data. Statistical nature of other attributes may be practically arbitrary. We demonstrate the use of the model by applying it to a paleoecological reconstruction problem.
