Abstract: A Markovian model is formulated io find the throughput- delay performance for slotted-ALOHA multiho p packet radio networks with a fixed configuration of packet radio units (terminals and repeaters) and'fixed sourge-to-!ink paths for packets. Improvement s in performance which are obtained by the adjustment of transmission Param6ters (suppression/acceleration) according to the states of nearby units and/9/' by having repeaters equipped with multiple buffers are demonstrated.
