Abstract: Data analysts perform a wide variety of computational
tasks in the course of an analysis, and
they should be able to do them all on the same
platform. XGobi helps to make this possible by
bringing state-of-the-art dynamic graphic methods for
the display and manipulation of scatter plots to the
UNIX

the S data analysis environment.
