Abstract:
In this paper, we present our effort to design and construct a low-cost high-speed switch network for small workstation cluster called HSSI switch. The design of this switch is based on the concept of multistage interconnection network. The worm-hole routing technique has been employed to minimize the delay-time. Our design can support a non-blocking connection at a throughput of over 100 Mbps per port. 1
