This studywas aimed at elucidating the temporal changes ofmicroarchitectural andmechanical parameters of cancellous bone in the osteoporotic rabbit model induced by ovariectomy (OVX) combined with glucocorticoid (GC) administration. Osteoporotic (OP) group received bilateral OVX combined with injections of GC, while sham group only received sham operation. Postmenopausal osteoporosis is a common skeletal disorder caused by estrogen deficiency. Lack of estrogen leads to the enhancement of bone resorption due to a decreased inhibition of estrogen on both osteoclastogenesis and osteoclast activity, eventually causing decreased bone mass and increased risk for osteoporosis [1]. This disorder is a potential risk factor for
