Abstract — Huge amount of different types of information is being posted on the web on daily basis. There are available tools to enable users to search for this vast amount of information. Figure 1 provides the different types of web information. Certain types of web information need to verify its correctness once posted on the web (i.e. the information has a reference that cannot be tampered with or changed). Such these types of information need systems in order to assure their correctness. The Hadith is an example of these types of information, which are the sayings of the Islamic Prophet Mohammad. Hadith in Islam is a very important tool to understand Qur’an and in matter of Islamic law. Once Muslims need to verify and evaluate their actions, they refer first to Qur’an and if they could not resolve the issue they refer to the Hadith as the second source of Islamic Law. This paper presents a reliable method to extract Hadith text from Islamic web pages in order to find out the degree of correctness for each one by looking it up in Sheikh Al-Albani Hadith Database (correct series and weak series) which contains 17000+Hadeeth texts and their degrees according to Sheikh Al-Albani studies. The proposed approach uses positional index built over “SAHDB ” and extracts Hadith terms as queries from the passed web page, and execute these queries over SAHDB index.

In the information age we much depend on our ability to find information hidden in mostly unstructured and textual documents. This article proposes a simple method in which (as an addition to existing systems) categorization accuracy can be improved, compared to traditional techniques, without requiring any time-consuming or language-dependent computation. That result is achieved by exploiting properties observed in the entire document collection as opposed to individual documents, which may also be regarded as a construction of an approximate concept network (measuring semantic distances). These properties are sufficiently simple to avoid entailing massive computations; however, they try to capture the most fundamental relationships between words or concepts. Experiments performed on the Reuters-21578 news article collections were evaluated using a set of simple measurements estimating clustering efficiency, and in addition by Cluto, a widely used document clustering software. Results show a 5–10 % improvement in clustering quality over traditional tf (term frequency) or tf × idf (term frequency-inverse document frequency) based clustering.
