Quality assurance of health education and health promotion in the United States has focused on verifying that individuals have obtained the requisite competencies to practice health education and ensuring that college and university profes-sional preparation programs have met established standards and requirements in preparing students to enter the health education workforce. From the U.S. perspective, as illus-trated in Figure 1, credentialing is an umbrella term that includes quality assurance efforts involving individuals or programs and/or institutions. The health education profession has a rich history of embracing responsibility for credential-ing through voluntary accreditation and approval systems as well as individual certification processes (Allegrante, Auld, Butterfoss, & Livingood, 2001; Livingood & Auld, 2001). A detailed account and description of the various licenses, certi-fications, approvals, and accreditations in health education were presented during the Galway Consensus Conference in
RECENT PROGRESS ON RICCI SOLITONS
, 2009
"... In recent years, there has seen much interest and increased research activities in Ricci solitons. Ricci solitons are natural generalizations of Einstein metrics. They are also special solutions to Hamilton’s Ricci flow and play important roles in the singularity study of the Ricci flow. In this pap ..."

. In this paper, we survey some of the recent progress on Ricci solitons.
RECENT PROGRESS IN LATTICE QCD
"... Recent progress in Lattice QCD is highlighted. After a brief introduction to the methodology of lattice computations the presentation focuses on three main topics: Hadron Spectroscopy, Hadron Structure and Lattice Flavor Physics. In each case a summary of recent computations of selected quantities i ..."

Recent Progress in Coalescent Theory
"... Coalescent theory is the study of random processes where particles may join each other to form clusters as time evolves. These notes provide an introduction to some aspects of the mathematics of coalescent processes and their applications to theoretical population genetics and in other fields such ..."

CONFINEMENT OF COLOR: RECENT PROGRESS. ∗
, 2003
"... Recent progress done in Pisa on the subject is presented. It is shown that dual superconductivity of the vacuum or absence of it is an intrinsic property of QCD vacuum, independent of the choice of the abelian projection. The order of the deconfining phase transition in Nf = 2 QCD is studied as a ke ..."
