Moreover, starting from the principles of experimental research, design and evaluate a methodology for the design of such systems. 2. Build a top R&D program to explore the challenges of building system support for massively social games. Improve the life of millions. Create a great R&D team. Achieve high academic impact. Valorize the results. 3. Educate a new generation of top-quality, socially responsible professionals in distributed computer systems. Objectives and Key Results (2009—2013) 1. Publish scientific results for, yearly, at least 5 DBLP entries and h-/g-index growth of 3/5. (100 % achieved) 2. Hire yearly one good person excited to build something new. (100%) 3. Acquire 1 million Euros for R&D. (50%) 4. Teach yearly at an excellent level 1 general course and 1 topical course, and 1 new course every three years; supervise 2/3/2 BSc-/MSc-/PhD-level local and international students. (90%) 5. Demonstrate national and international leadership via organizing yearly at least 5 professional meetings of excellent standing, giving 5 invited lectures, and improving the research/teaching aspects at TU Delft. (75%)

• Provide meteorological information from different cities of the Spanish territory. • Provide access to news from different online editions of newspapers. • Dialogue system for the company Softec-Ibermática. • Input devices: keyboard, mouse, microphone and web-cam. • Output devices: screen and loudspeakers. • Multimodal interaction allows the effective use by people with disabilities. System description Modules developed under EDECÁN architecture specifications. Dialogue manager module: ‣ Decides the strategy to follow, according to the semantic information given by the understanding module. ‣ Gives way to the system and user. ‣ Tries to fulfill the task in the minimum number of iterations. Web Client module: ‣ Gets the requested information. ‣ Download the information in XML format. XSLT module: ‣ Converts the information in XML format to HTML format. Face detection module: ‣ Activates the system. ‣ The system is idle if not detected the presence of a user. ASR module: ‣ Given an acoustic signal, provides the most likely sequence of words.
