Abstract: EvE is a functional language designed for the research on programming parallel computers, especially dataflow machines. The language combines a simple syntax and semantics with most of the features widely used in functional programming: strong typing, higher order functions, delayed evaluation, non-strict functions and data types. This report defines the syntax of the language and informally describes its semantics on the basis of examples. A major program shows the capabilites of the ... (Update)
