Abstract: . The problem of finding a true concurrent semantics for contextual
P/T nets has not been deeply studied yet. The interest for such
a semantics has been renewed by some recent proposals to equip mobile
process algebras with a net semantics based on this model. In [3] we
proposed a causal semantics for such nets, in this paper we study the
non sequential semantics of contextual P/T nets. The semantics is based
on a suitable notion of occurrence net and, equipped with a notion of
history... (Update)

.... present paper we extend the definitions and results of [DMM 89] and [Wnk 97] to contextual nets similar to those in [MR 95] cf. also [BP 96] and [Ris 94] Contextual nets are models of concurrent systems with context dependent actions. A contextual net is shown in figure 1....
...between concurrency, causality and nondeterminism. For contextual nets both the process and the unfolding approaches have been studied [27,8,9,2,1], giving a satisfactory understanding of the computational model via the introduction of asymmetric event structures. The algebraic...
