Abstract: Domain-specific information retrieval normally depends on general
search engines which make no use of domain knowledge and require a user to
look at a linear display of loosely organised search results, or hand-crafted
specialised systems with a better browsing interface but which are costly to
build and maintain. We are developing an approach to domain specific
information retrieval that makes much greater use of domain expert knowledge. (Update)
