Abstract: Stimulus response learning combines the concept of evolutionary algorithms and an improved version of a known approach of machine learning, namely the schema mechanism of Gary L. Drescher. It permits systems with sensors and effectors, so-called animats, to explore and internally model an environment. (Update)
