Abstract: This technical report provides a theoretical basis for the implementation of a TTCN test case simulator. In order to base the implementation on existing code, an automata based model has been chosen, i.e., in the model a TTCN test case shows an automaton like behavior. The procedure is the following: TTCN test cases are transformed into an internal structure, which afterwards can be interpreted by using the provided enabling conditions and execution rules.
