Abstract: Finding the best strategy to use a number of pumps working in parallel and supplying water to a variable demand, while minimizing the energy consumption and the number of on-o switches is a challenging task. This optimization problem involves a large space search, continuous and discrete variables, physical and operational constraints and also multi-objectives. (Update)
