Abstract: this paper, we modelize the linkage disequilibrium used to discover haplotypes that are able to explain multi-factorial diseases such as diabetes or obesity, as a rule mining problem. As rule mining is a large space combinatorial problem, evolutionary algorithms are well adapted to solve it. In order to nd association rules in linkage disequilibrium data, we develop ASGARD (Adaptive Steady state Genetic Algorithm for association Rule Discovery). ASGARD includes advanced mechanisms such as... (Update)
