Abstract: This paper asseses the impact of increasing immigration in Spain. Recently, the Spanish Parliament has passed a law to legalize the situation of illegal immigrant workers. We look into the economic eects of the new law by constructing a computable general equilibrium model calibrated to the latest Spanish social accounting matrix (SAM).
