Abstract: . Reasoning by evidence is presented as a
way of reasoning with incomplete information. This approach
is applied to the process of planning under uncertainty
that stems mainly from the general incompleteness
of an agent's knowledge about the real world, and from
the fact that the world changes not only due to the agent's
actions, but for many other reasons, often unknown to the
agent.
