Abstract: . There are several approaches to knowledge-based configuration, which are successfully applied in technical domains. Nevertheless they appear not to be sufficient for configuring software-based systems, as they primarily proceed in a structurebased manner, but do not take the system's behavior into account. In this context, the configuration of software-based systems does not mean the programming of software, but the composition of existing software modules into an individual software variant. ...
