Abstract: The vast improvement of hardware and software technology in the last years has made it possible for companies to store large amounts of data in a reliable and inexpensive way. Although this may appear to be very positive at first, it has led in very many cases to big collections of data, where it has become impossible for humans to maintain the right understanding of the data they hold.
