Abstract: Recently, video transmission has made up a significant portion of the workload on today's computer networks. Because of its demands on network bandwidth, we need to have a good transmission scheme for video server, an effective buffer management, and a client/server control mechanism to manage the network delay. In this paper, we propose a new transmission scheme suitable for a video system with a multiple server design. The proposed transmission scheme is priority-driven and assigns priorities ... (Update)
