Abstract: Cryptographic protocols for key distribution and authentication play an important role in Internet security. Certain aws in these protocols can be discovered using term rewriting models to express the protocol, the malicious network environment, and vulnerability search strategies. 1 Cryptographic Protocol Security Cryptographic protocols are short, simple exchanges of messages whose purpose is to distribute secret keys to communicating parties. These keys can be used to transmit con dential... (Update)
