Abstract: The World Wide Web (WWW) is a distributed global information resource containing a large amount of data relevant to essentially all domains of human activity. Given the high rate of growth of the volume of data available on the WWW, locating information of interest in such an anarchic setting becomes a more difficult process every day. Several useful indexes (e.g. Yahoo, Lycos, OpenText, etc) exist and are accessed thousands of times a day. Each of these indexes has its own set of parameters to ... (Update)
