Abstract: In this paper we present a recursive definition of the sojourn time probability distribution function of the M/M/1//N-LCFS-PR system. Applications of this model can be found in telecommunication systems and in manufacturing systems. By means of a transformation method we obtain the first two moments of sojourn times in a symmetric system with an arbitrary number of messages.
