Abstract: This paper presents a formal and computational methodology for updating
temporal knowledge bases about actions and changes. Technically we employ the
action description language AC of [8] to describe cause-effect relations on domains of
(concurrent) actions. The knowledge bases on domains of (concurrent) actions are defined
and obtained by a new translation from domain descriptions in AC into abductive
normal logic programs, where a time dimension is incorporated. The knowledge bases
are shown... (Update)
