Abstract: This paper presents a platform called JASON, which allows the owners of mobile devices to discover software applications that can be made available to them spontaneously by other owners of mobile devices who belong to their network. It also permits them to announce the applications they wish to provide to the other members of the network, and provides facilities to download remote applications and to run them locally in a secure environment.
