Abstract: This report describes how traffic information is gathered, processed, packaged, wholesaled, and retailed on the variety of platforms which are available on the market today. TASK 4. Laboratory Simulation of ATIS for Testing Drivers' Response This project was formulated to explore the feasibility of enhancing existing laboratory or PC-based driver decision simulators which have the ability to gather revealed preference data and test drivers' decisions in the presence of traffic information.
