Abstract: Sybil is a system for supporting the integration of distributed, heterogeneous data sources (e.g., databases and ad hoc data systems). Up to now, such integration has usually taken one of two forms: point solutions (each time an application needs to access a set of data systems a new application or wrapper is built) and complete integration (each schema is translated into a common model and all schemas are merged into a common view). The problem is that point solutions do not scale, and at the... (Update)
