Abstract: This paper reports our recent research and development to make SYPROS an intelligent distributed learning environment (IDLE), i.e. to make it accessible through the WWW, and to facilitate group learning with intelligent support. An important goal of our work is to find out, how much of an existing ITS can be re--used as part of an IDLE, in case the ITS is designed as modular as SYPROS.
