Abstract: The design of analog and mixed-signal systems is still not so well-structured as the design of digital
systems: analog design still goes bottom-up, is very time-consuming and requires a lot of expert-knowledge
and experience.
Design-automation in the analog and mixed analog/digital domain does not only require new tools -- in
order to be able to use new and existing tools efficiently, first of all a well-structurized top-down designflow
