Abstract: this paper is to support this case for an object-oriented approach to conceptual schema development by introducing a set of formal notions (based on theories and interpretations between theories) through which conceptual modelling may be approached from the point of view of describing, structuring and interconnecting objects. We should stress that we shall not be proposing a new specification language (although a minimal language will be used for illustration) or conceptual modelling approach... (Update)
