Abstract: Applications in modern enterprises are increasingly dependent on two enabling technologies: high-speed networking and object orientation. These applications, which are becoming more complex and distributed, typically run on different computers, running different operating systems and software tools, and are interconnected by different networks. Clearly, there is a need for integrating different components efficiently and reliably in a distributed heterogeneous environment. This paper presents... (Update)
