Abstract: . Because of its varying requirements, special needs education provides computer-aided instruction with a particular challenge. Up till now, these challenges have been met with computerized one-purpose teaching tools, instead of versatile learning environments. Since special needs education covers a multidimensional spectrum of learning difficulties, a computer-based learning environment can benefit from agents tracing and guiding the learning-teaching process.
