Abstract: This article introduces an original method that greatly improves Fourier analysis precision both in frequency and amplitude, but also in time, thus minimizing the problem of the trade-off of time versus frequency with the classical short-time Fourier transform. This method is of great interest for extracting spectral modeling parameters from existing sounds and, after a detailed theoretical presentation, practical results obtained from implementation are exposed at the end of this paper.
